Renowned players in the information and telecommunications sector – some with a global profile – have settled in the greater Zurich-Winterthur-Lake Constance region. In order to satisfy a growing industry need, the ICT cluster WinLink was founded in 2005 in cooperation with Location Promotion Winterthur Region. The organization is domiciled in Winterthur and provides a powerful platform for knowledge exchange and networking. The cluster is made up of members with a joint turnover of over CHF 9 billion and more than 44,000 employees.
