We all have our own idea of what constitutes a dream house or dream apartment. The diversity of housing in the Winterthur region, usually at a fair price and in an environment with favorable cost of living, is big enough to fulfil most wishes. On 1 June 2011, the vacancy rate in the city of Winterthur stood at 0.24 percent, which means that, as at that date, no buyer or tenant had been found for 120 apartments.
